Before entering the water, I’ll explain the fundamentals of cold water immersion, safety measures and techniques to help you feel confident and ready.
We’ll start with simple breathing exercises designed to calm your mind and prepare your body for the cold. These techniques help you stay grounded and in control.

After the immersion, we’ll take a moment to reflect and warm up, discussing how your body responded and the benefits you experienced

Please bring something warm and comfortable to change into after your session, such as a dry robe, warm layers or a towel.

Cold Water Locations

  • Rossnowlagh Beach: A stunning sandy beach with expansive views, perfect for relaxing and reflective immersion sessions. Not suitable for your first cold water session due to the possibility of large waves. Choose Creevy Peir for your first dip as it’s only a 10 min drive from this location
  • Creevy Pier: A peaceful and scenic coastal spot, ideal for connecting with nature during your session. Situated in a sheltered location, making it the perfect location for your first cold water experience in this area.
  • Murvagh Beach: A tranquil, wide sandy shore offering a calm atmosphere for beginners and experienced participants alike.
  • Thrupenny Pool: (Bundoran) A natural rock pool formed by the ocean, providing a refreshing and invigorating cold water experience.
  • West End Pool: (Bundoran) Another natural rock pool with a more enclosed feel, offering a unique and intimate immersion experience. This location is tide-dependent.
  • Bishop’s Pool (Mullaghmore) A secluded rock pool at the base of Mullaghmore Head, surrounded by the calming sounds of the ocean. This location is tide-dependent.
